Shopper Eligibility


Pre-K through grade 12 educators employed by public schools across all 55 counties in West Virginia, are eligible to shop at The Teachers & Students Empowerment Network. Employment verification will be required during your first visit each year.


Eligible shoppers include administrators, teachers, counselors, media specialists, therapists, nursing staff, and paraprofessionals/aides.

Shopper Guidelines


By shopping at The Teachers & Student Empowerment Network, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the policies, procedures, and practices outlined in the 2025-2026 Shoppers Guidelines.

First Time Shopping at The Teachers & Students Empowerment Network Store


The Teachers & Students Empowerment Network features seven distinct rooms, and first-time shoppers are encouraged to allocate additional time to explore the available resources.


  • Lobby - Shop for student gifts, rewards, and incentives to motivate learning.


  • Book Room - Fill out your classroom library with picture books, chapter books, activity books, reference books, books on professional development, and posters. We have thousands of books from which to choose.


  • Classroom - Stock up on basic supplies including crayons, pens, pencils, erasers, markers, binders, binder clips, folders, glue sticks, and more.


  • Furniture Room - Supplement or replace classroom furnishings with filing cabinets, lockers, desks, tables, chairs, dry erase boards, and cork boards.


  • Paper Room - Prepare for projects with paper for writing, drawing, and figuring. Choices might include index cards, poster paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, art paper, mailing tubes, construction paper, and envelopes.


  • STEM Room - Check out the science equipment, games, math manipulatives, maps, and posters that can be found here.


  • Project Room - Stocked with fabrics, stamps, paints, stencils, and more, this room is a resource for science fair projects, multi-media presentations, art classes, school plays, and student projects.


When shopping at the Free Store, please be aware that some rooms may not yet be fully set up and stocked. We are actively in the process of acquiring products for these spaces.

Quantity Limits


Shopping at The Teachers & Students Empowerment Network Free Store is subject to item limitations. Each shelving unit displays the maximum quantity allowed per item, ensuring clarity for shoppers. Additionally, when selecting items online, the system will automatically display the maximum allowable quantity in the designated field.

Educators Homework


We encourage educators to join us in expressing gratitude to the generous individuals, businesses, and organizations that make free supplies available for your students. The Teachers & Students Empowerment Network kindly requests that shoppers and their students share thank-you notes, drawings, or photos of students utilizing the supplies as a gesture of appreciation to our donors after each shopping visit. Additional details will be provided upon checkout.
